GOLDEN BRUSH ART PRESENTS: “EVOLUTION” LIVE PAINTING COMPETITION
Setting the stage for the Battle of the Brush, Season 2, Grande Finale: two stages, each with two canvases, and at each canvas two painters; they worked in pairs. Preparing to work: four canvases and eight painters. Don’t forget the brushes and the paint! Now for the time: 2 x 40 minutes to paint a painting. So what do we have now, the summary: each team includes two artists “combining their skills, strokes, and colors to complete a painting on a chosen theme” ~ EVOLUTION is the 2013 finale theme. And they only have 80 minutes to do it … PHEW … that was already said … right! So let’s get on with the finale. All the winning teams from Season 2 come to compete against each other. Check out the competing teams below. We have definitely seen some of the artists’ works before!
Michael Vigneux & Savanna Junjek
Thomaz Magno & Sandra Diaz
Bill Higginson & Olga Rybalko
Jennifer Harwood & Jonathan Shaw
Now we ask, what is it about live art performance that makes one get up and cheer? It’s not only the adrenaline-pumping artistry, but it’s the drinks, the opportunity to mingle with everyone (including the artists), look at beautiful art and beautiful people making it … and then finally THE VOTE!
The result is when the fantabulous masterpieces are then viewed and voted for by the audience ~ alas, the winning team. The colorful results will also be auctioned off along with paintings Season 2, Episodes 1-4 (www.facebook.com/battleofthebrush).
