HAVE YOU EVER WANTED TO PAINT AN ABSTRACT PAINTING?
We will be having our second art class taught by Bill Higginson, one of our team captains from our season 1 grand finale.
He will be teaching you how to paint an abstract painting using 3 basic paint application techniques. After class, you’ll have an abstract painting that you can show your friends and family!
MEET BILL, THE ARTIST
People usually show up at 7pm and mix and mingle over snacks and drinks before class begins. We aim to start class at 7:30pm from which the artist will show everyone how to start an abstract painting. There are guidelines and tips shown to open the mind for creating an abstract.
Everyone dabs into their art, mixing paints and spashing them onto the canvas. The artist gives suggestions as to make each person’s work better and more interesting.
The class wraps up around 9:30pm to 10pm where we all take pictures of the artwork to show all of our friends and family.
Date: Thursday June 21 @ 7pm to 10pm
Place: Chapel Arts (304 Dunlevy Ave Vancouver)
