Let us introduce our new venue at “Chapel Arts”. We will be having our first show at Chapel Arts on September 22, 2011, with two upcoming shows afterwards. So, let me tell you a short story about how Kevan and I came across the Chapel and how we met Nathan, the owner.
After our last painting show in March, we had a few new ideas and concepts to create a more dynamic show. However, we struggled to find the right venue and did not have any luck finding space. One summer afternoon, Kevan called me up and asked to check out a nice place on East Hastings. To tell you the truth, I didn’t think there was a nice place on East Hastings but I decided to go and see since we didn’t have much luck elsewhere.
Love at first sight? Sure, I might have felt the butterflies but with this place? Well, you can’t change the heart and it was like love when I first walked into the place as I grew more and more in love as Nathan showed me the building and his plan for Chapel Arts Studio.
Don’t worry about any spiritual souls floating around or ghosts are being spotted! Nobody died in the building, only dead people came in for some extensive care!!
