Alex Pelletier has studied animation in Montreal for 8 years. He’s now working full time in 2D animation on shows such as Rick and Morty, Pirate Express, Turbo and more. Alex started painting cute creatures and pretty girls for his own apartment. His interest in painting grew up and now he’s painting as much as possible. He is mostly interested by simple shapes present all around us. Fruit shapes, rocks, the human body, … combination of curves and straight lines to create something appealing. Giving life to inanimate things and creating imaginary world. Scott C., Zac Gorman and Ashley Wood are some of his favourite artists.
“Animation is certainly my favorite thing in the world. It’s a combination of everything I like. Music, sounds, characters, stories, emotions, drawings and more. It brings imaginary worlds alive and makes us feel alive. That’s also what I want my paintings to express.”
